LOOMIS GROUP AND WEBEX STRIKE GOLD WITH DMA ECHO AWARD
San Francisco, California - October 19, 2004 - Loomis Group, an independent, integrated marketing agency, has won the prestigious Gold ECHO Award from the Direct Marketing Association (DMA). After evaluating 1,077 entries submitted by agencies worldwide, the DMA ECHO committee selected a demand generation piece Loomis Group developed for WebEx, the leading provider of on-demand Web meeting applications, as this year's winner. Loomis Group also qualified as a finalist for the Diamond Echo, the highest award given by the DMA. As one of only 52 U.S. agencies recognized for excellence at this year's ceremony, Loomis Group prevailed in the Business to Business Multimedia/Dimensional Direct Mail category with a campaign that used a pizza box to deliver WebEx's key messages to an audience of several thousand corporate trainers and curriculum developers. The result was an unprecedented 11% response rate and an ROI for WebEx of 21:1.

Together, these pieces communicated an offer of a free pizza lunch for the recipients and their teams.
