Honor Recognizes Inventive Software Logo Design

San Francisco, Calif. - April 15, 2005 - Loomis Group, an independent, integrated marketing agency, announced today that it has earned the Medical Marketing Association's (MMA's) 2005 International Award of Excellence (IN-AWE) for a client's creative logo design.

Loomis Group competed against submissions from leading medical advertising agencies, as well as other businesses. Eligible entries for the 2005 IN-AWE selections had to relate to medical or health care marketing and target professional, trade or consumer audiences. A panel of 50 judges from medical and health care companies, agencies, print, film, video and electronic production companies, appraised the entries.

Spectra Laboratories' Averity Web-based, cutting-edge software is used for laboratory ordering, reporting and data management for patients needing renal care. Spectra Laboratories provides laboratory products and services to the renal industry, including free-standing and hospital-based dialysis clinics. The MMA is a non-profit organization made up of medical marketers from the pharmaceutical, device, diagnostic and marketing/advertising businesses.
