ADDY AND DALTON PEN AWARDS

Integrated agency recognized for excellence in creative services

San Francisco, Calif. - Sept. 14, 2005 - Loomis Group, an independent, integrated marketing agency, has earned the American Advertising Federation's Gold ADDY® Award and two Dalton Pen Communications Awards. These prestigious awards recognize the agency's creative work in direct and interactive marketing.

In winning the awards, Loomis Group competed against thousands of submissions from global Fortune 500 companies, broadcast networks and stations, and media, advertising, marketing and public relations agencies worldwide. Both award programs honor outstanding projects in the communications field and were judged by distinguished panels of industry leaders.

Loomis Group earned a Gold ADDY award and the Dalton Pen Award of Excellence in the Direct Mail category for a fire-engine red, industrial strength toolbox designed for client Maxtor, the leading consumer hard drive manufacturer. Inside the locked box, Maxtor's channel partners found information on a new product as well as guidance to help them sell effectively. The call-to-action, an online training program which Loomis Group also created, generated an astounding 72.1 percent response rate.

The entry elicited praise from the Dalton Pen judging committee, which noted, “You really hit this one out of the park for us. Overall, [this is] one of the best entries ever.” Additionally, Loomis Group brought home a Dalton Pen Award of Honor for an interactive newsletter it produced for technology client Extraction Systems, with the panel's comments, “This is one of the best [web sites] I've ever seen…great layout and good headlines.” The newsletter was a part of Extraction's integrated branding program that Loomis Group has managed for several years, including PR, advertising, web development, trade show environment and collateral.

Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the ADDY Awards is the advertising industry's largest competition that recognizes creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. Representing the true creative spirit of advertising, last year's competition expanded from a national to a worldwide competition with over 60,000 entries. The ADDY Awards is the only three-tiered advertising competition in the United States and each year highlights the very best in advertising, marketing and design—representing “the best of the best of the best.”
