NMCT AB Selects Agency for Branding, Creative and Public Relations Expertise

SAN FRANCISCO - March 13, 2006 - Loomis Group, an independent, integrated marketing agency, announced today that it was chosen as the Agency of Record by Sweden-based NMCT AB for a fully integrated, direct-to-the-consumer recruitment campaign as part of an American diabetes prevention clinical trial. A global pharmaceutical company sponsors the trial and the study group will be selected after screening of more than 200,000 Americans.

The American Diabetes Association estimates that 41 million people in the United States, between the ages 40 to 74, have pre-diabetes. The six-month patient-focused campaign includes television, print, Web and radio advertising as well as public relations targeted at obese Caucasians, Latinos and African Americans living in California, Texas and Louisiana. Loomis Group’s San Francisco office will spearhead the campaign.
